Goa Beaches: Soul of Goa


Goa has a few of the most beautiful beaches in India. For more than a couple of decades, Goa has remained one of the favorite tourist destinations in India. The beautiful emerald green shoreline, lovely sultry settings, blond sand on the beach, the wide spread covering of coconut palms, the Portuguese churches and mansions make Goa all the more special. Above all, the ever exhilarating Goa beaches make the place more beautiful. 
The beaches of Goa are located mainly around Panaji, Mapusa and Margao. A few of the most popular beaches in Goa are Baga beach, Calangute, Anjuna, Dona Paula and Colva beach. These beaches are well linked to the Dabolim airport as well as to the major railway stations in Goa.
Popular Beaches in Goa
·        Calangute Beach: Of these beaches, Calangute is also identified as the queen among the beaches of Goa. It’s one of the busiest and famous beaches in Goa. It was a quiet beach when the hippies discovered it in the 70s and has gained immense popularity since then. 
·        Anjuna Beach: This pleasant beach is very well known for its full moon beach parties and some of the wildest rave parties are organized here. The foreign tourists love to take part in the exciting full moon parties held on this beach with the addition of trance music.
·        Colva Beach: This is one of the popular beaches in South Goa, which recently became famous. It is a beach well equipped for the arrival of tourists with luxurious hotels and resorts to stay and nice restaurants to dine.
Thus, Goa is blessed with some of the finest beaches that attract people from all over the world.
